  • Selma Dilek, Hacettepe University

  • Metehan Güzel, Gazi University

Objectives:

Q-Iot Project addresses the end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) issue in IoT systems. Its main objective is to design a scalable multilayer architecture to satisfy the QoS requirements of real-world IoT applications. To achieve this objective, end-to-end QoS models and novel dynamic resource allocation schemes will be developed for IoT networks. The performance of the proposed system will be tested for different smart city scenarios.

Funding:

This work is supported in part by joint collaboration research funding scheme between The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) under grant number 119N049 and the National Science and Technology Development Agency of Thailand (NSTDA) .

Duration:

36 months ( end date: 15 June 2023 )

Open Positions:

We are seeking highly motivated PhD and MSc students willing to conduct research on QoS-aware IoT networks, protocols, and fog/edge layer services. The positions are available for the Fall 2021 term.
